Education

Use a private network to collaborate with other students, whether in more traditional settings, remote education, or weekend classes and workshops.

Use Case Examples

Different ways that teachers can use a private network solution.

  • With a Class: Create a different folder for each student, such as for various homework or practice assignments. Students can inform of updates with an email notification.

  • Field Trips: Create a folder for the destination, add a note of the itinerary, an event email alert to help prepare, or add photos from during the trip into documents.

  • Collaboration: Set up folders just between yourself and other teachers, to centralize different resource information or new class proposals.

  • Research: Add a folder for specific research topics, include websites of experts, blogs of current events or store larger PDFs and files in documents.

  • Manage a Project: For more elaborate or group projects, add actions for key milestones or tasks needed, as well as complimentary content beneficial for the project such as websites, blogs or any relevant events.

Types of Users

Add Basic users to view, add or edit content from folders you’ve shared with them. If users are more involved, they can be changed to Advanced users to create and share their own folders or content.

Application Examples

Within each folder are different applications to use as needed.

  • Documents: Upload and share assignments or updated drafts.

  • Events: Schedule key events such as exams, add an email alert.

  • Actions: Organize a class project, add action status, owner and due date.

  • Notes: Store notes from lessons, others can add comments.

  • News: Add your favorite blogs or a news search of your subject.

  • Websites: Store reference websites related to your education.
