Organizations

Use a private network to manage your organization and sharing content with others.

Use Case Examples

Different ways an organization can use a private network solution.

  • Operations: Use a centralized place to store other websites or resources used to help manage or run the organization.

  • Marketing: Create a folder for organizing different promotional activities, such as a link for updating your own website and blog or upcoming events.

  • New Members: Store reference information to help new members get more acquainted. Include photos from past events, PDFs for the the organization is about or other websites with similar perspectives.

  • Manage Projects: Create a new folder for a larger project and add different actions that are needed. If others can volunteer or are able to help, can highlight the action and click the Take button to make the action theirs.

  • Workshops: Plan a class or workshop for people in your organization. Create a new folder, add an agenda into a note, any actions needed to be done, or add an event email alert for a little extra preparation beforehand.

Types of Users

Add Basic users to view, add or edit content from folders you’ve shared with them. If users are more involved, they can be changed to Advanced users to create and share their own folders or content.

Application Examples

Within each folder are different applications to use as needed.

  • Events: Schedule events, include an email alert for adequate preparation.

  • Actions: Organize projects, add a priority, status, owner and due date.

  • Documents: Add photos, others can view in slideshow view.

  • Notes: Jot down new ideas or share meeting minutes for reference.

  • News: Follow blogs, add news searches related to your organization.

  • Websites: Have a centralized place for frequently used websites.
