Volunteers

Use a private network to help volunteers stay informed of available projects and activities.

Use Case Examples

Different ways you can use a private network for working with volunteers.

  • Reference Material: Store educational information for more awareness, upload PDFs, presentations or other files into documents, share notes of recent activities or share websites and blogs that are complimentary to your own activities.

  • Planning a Project: Create a new folder for a larger project, add appropriate actions, send an email notification of the project and others can claim the action as theirs by clicking the Take button.

  • Sharing Photos: With your own private network, you can comfortably share photos from past and current events or activities.

  • Operations: Create a folder for yourself and others that are helping to manage different projects and activities, include websites for support infrastructure, such as for your own website or blog.

  • Larger Projects: Create a separate network for a larger project or event, making the network exclusive for people that are involved and helping out.

Types of Users

Add Basic users to view, add or edit content from folders you’ve shared with them. If users are more involved, they can be changed to Advanced users to create and share their own folders or content.

Application Examples

Within each folder are different applications to use as needed.

  • Events: Schedule new events, add email alerts to confirm attendance.

  • Actions: Organize projects, add actions with priority, status and owner.

  • Notes: Share tips or suggestions, jot down an outline for a new project.

  • Documents: Upload different types of files, including PDFs and photos.

  • Contacts: Share locations, emails and phone numbers.

  • News: Follow blogs of others in your community.

  • Websites: Add websites complimentary to different projects.
