Use Case Examples
Different ways that neighbors can use a private network solution.
-
Reference Information: Share information about the neighborhood for new neighbors or as occasional reference. This could be emergency or recommended maintenance contacts and numbers, photos from the past to see how the area has changed or other local websites or blogs.
-
Helping Each Other: Create a folder for assistance or sub-folders different types, such as for babysitting or taking care of the dog or cat while on vacation.
-
Planning a Party: Whether for a holiday, welcoming a new neighbor or other special occasion, you can add a folder for the event, schedule an event with an email alert and afterwards post any photos in documents for those unable to attend.
-
Annual Maintenance: For your spring and fall seasons, add a folder for the maintenance activity, event email alerts for friendly reminders and a short list in a note of useful directions or instructions.
-
Larger Projects: For larger activities with the greater community, create a separate network to give the project more focus, including only those that are directly involved. Send email notifications of changes, others can add comments for feedback.
Types of Users
Add Basic users to view, add or edit content from folders you’ve shared with them. If users are more involved, they can be changed to Advanced users to create and share their own folders or content.
Application Examples
Within each folder are different applications to use as needed.
-
Events: Schedule social events, add email alerts for any preparation.
-
Actions: Organize larger projects or get-togethers.
