Overview
What applications are included in Updates?
The applications that are displayed include news notes, actions documents, websites, events, comments and pages. Additionally there is a listing of for My Actions to view the actions specifically assigned to you.
Why is Updates the default view when I log onto Odysen?
To help provide a quick snapshot view of any recent changes in your network, Updates is the first page that you see when when log into your network, specifically for the All folder. The exception being when you click on a link from an email notification, in which case you'll go directly to the item being referenced in the email.
How can I view an item?
To see the details of any items displayed in Updates, just click on the name of the item and a new window will open showing the application item details as well as any comments that have been added.

Can I edit items directly from Updates?
Yes. This helps to not only view in recently changes of your content, but to edit or add a quick comment. Simply click the name of the application item and a new window will be displaying with the item content.
Can I send an email from an item that's displayed?
Yes, just click on the name of the item to view the details, followed by clicking on the Email button on the top of the window. This can be helpful if you see a new item that someone has shared with you and you'd like to give them a comment or ask a quick follow-up question.
Can I minimize the items that are displayed?
Yes, to do this just click on the title bar of each application, this will reduce all the content displayed, showing only the title and quantity of items.
What does clicking on the folder icon next to each item do?
When you click on the folder icon, you'll go directly to the item in its' respective folder. This can be helpful to see the item along with other content complimentary to it, such as other websites, news, actions, notes, documents and other content.
What does the feature Include Sub-Folders do?
This allows you to view all the content both the immediate folder as well as content from all the sub-folders. This helps to both keep content well organized in their respectible folders, as well as being able to quickly view all the content in higher level, parent folders. To view the content only in the folder you're looking at, just select from the drop-down menu to the option "Only this Folder".
